A geomagnetic storm was expected on December 01, 2023. Overcast skies and snowy weather obstructed observations. However, at about UTC 22.30 the sky started to clear up. This meteor was observed using a Canon 250D, and a Meka fisheye-lens. Unfortunately some ice on the lens. It was also recorded on a camera station (AMS 135) that I maintain. This camera station is contributing to the Norwegian meteornetwork ( Norsk meteornettverk). More info on this event can be found here.

Wow, fantastic auroral activity this early evening. First, I noticed an east-west oriented band. Later the auroras bursted out in colors. Please, find timestamp on images. Photo details: Meke fisheye-lens, Canon 800D, various exposure times, various iso settings.
