A short‑lived STEVE event appeared over Follestaddalen in Ørsta, Norway, around 01:15–01:17 local time. A faint green picket fence formed beneath the main band before the entire structure faded rapidly. By 01:19 the sky had returned to calm twilight conditions as the nearly full Moon rose behind the southern mountains.

At one point the STEVE arc and the faint green picket fence crossed each other in the field of view, clearly showing the different altitudes and orientations of the two structures.

Equipment: Canon EOS 650D with an 8 mm fisheye lens, ISO 1600, and various exposure times depending on sky brightness.
